Circulatory Cells

Cardiac muscle cells:
They contract to squeeze the blood out through the heart, to the lungs and the rest of the body. They are spindle shaped, have one nucleus and are tightly packed.



Blood cells:
RBC'S- Contain hemoglobin which holds oxygen. They have a biconcave dip to allow for more surface for the absorption of oxygen. They are also pale pink in color.

WBC'S- Contain immune system purposes that destroy pathogens and send messages. They are white and are irregularly shaped.
