The digestive system interacts with the ecosystem. It takes and digests the food from the ecosystem for nutrients. Foods like plants give avariety of nutrients fromnuts giving fat, to grains giving fiber (a type of carbohydrate). Or other animals that live in the ecosystem giving protein to the digestive system to digest.
Also, the ecosystem can give you a way to prepare the food so that it is not raw when you eat it so that your body can get the nutrients it needs from it. A way for the food too be prepared is with fire, wether it is the barbecue you use today or the original fire our great ancestors used. The ecosystem has helped in many ways to keep the digestive system afloat to give the nutrients to all the cells in the body.
