The Skin and Respiratory system don't really interact in the human body. We have evolved to breath from our noses and mouths because of the environment we live in. However, frogs live in a completely different environment then we do and breath through their skin. The skin of frogs have pores just like ours, but at the end of their skin there are capillaries. The capillaries create a gas exchange and swap the outside oxygen for their Co2 created by cell respiration. The human body respiratory system is only different from the frogs in the way that humans and other mammals complete gas exchange by using their lungs, frogs and other animals such as earthworms use skin.
