The circulatory system does an important job of bringing the skin its nutrients to keep the skin cells healthy.
The circulatory system pumps the oxygenated blood around the the body to give the organs of the body nutrients. the circulatory system also gets rid of deoxygenated blood, and brings bvack oxygenated blood for the rest of the body.
The Circulatory system is made up of veins, arteries, capillaries, and all the different parts of the heart. The heart is made up of the right ventricle, left ventricle, left atrium, right atrium, the pulmonary artery, and the upper and lower vena cava.
When the heart contracts the right ventricle pumps blood throughout the body in the arteries. When the Skin cells (and all other body cells) have gone through cell respiration they release CO2 and other wastes. The veins pick up the CO2 and the other wastes and bring it back to the heart. the deoxygenated blood gets pushed out of the veins into the vena cava. from there it gets dumped into the right atrium. Then into the right ventricle. when the heart contracts again the deoxygenated blood gets pumped to the lugs from the the respiratory system does its job.
Once the skin cells gets its nutrients all the little pats can do its job of protection. For more about the circulatory system go to circulatory system
