Skin and Respiratory! In humans, there isn't really a connection between the skin system and the respiratory system, but there is in other animals. Amphibians like frogs are some of these animals. They actually breath through their skin. They have capillaries underneath the outer skin.
The skin also protects the respiratory system by acting as the first line of defense (see immune system for more information) so pathogens can't get inside the body and infect the lungs and other parts of the respiratory system. This is preventing pneumonia.
