Skeletal System and the Skin
The skin covers the skeletal system and is one of the parts that protects them. The skin's blood (that's in the blood vessels) is made from the bone marrow in the skeletal system. The blood give the different parts of the skin such as oil glands and follicle oxygen and collects CO2 and other wastes. The skin moves with the muscles and the bone when you are moving.

Your skin system acts as a first line of defense (see immune system for more information) to your body systems including your skeletal system. Your skin can protect you from cancer in the skeletal system (or at least try to).
